Darren Storey

Group Scout Leader

I have been involved in Scouting since 1990, when I joined as a Beaver. Seems such a long time ago but it has gone amazingly fast.

Previously I have been a Cub Leader, Scout Leader, and now a Group Scout Leader, so I have plenty of experience.

During this time, I have experienced so much, been to multiple countries and have friends in Scouting from around the World.

Outside of Scouting I work as a Vet, have a wonderful wife, a son, and a daughter.

Beaver Scout Leader

I am originally from Slovakia and have been with the Beavers since 2020. I originally joined together with my daughter, and I think Scouting is a fantastic opportunity for children to learn great life skills through fun and play. But the experience also helps me to learn new things. I look forward to all the adventure ahead.

I like being silly, spending time with my family and dogs and outdoor activities.

Larry Gardner

Cub Scout Leader – Akela

I am Larry Gardner or Akela in the cub pack. I was the Cub Scout leader of the 33rd Oxford for many years. I moved to Priors Hall when I retired from work in 2012 and became a Parish councillor till 2019. I am now looking forward to getting back into scouting.

My hobbies are woodworking, model making and walking my dog.

Sue Gardner

Treasurer

I’m Sue and have lived on Priors with my husband Larry since 2013. I have been an Assistant Cub Leader in the past, being involved for 16 years.

I am now the Treasurer for 21^st Corby and will help where I can with activities when needed.

If anyone is interested in helping with the management side of things come and speak to me.
